My Top 5 Sources of Information

The Onion
The onion one of my favorites sites for comic relief, it focuses on international and national news with a satirical twist. The articles are presented to spoof other news sites and may fool some gullible people with their interesting choice in headlines. It presents itself as a normal website for news but the more you read the goofier it gets. As someone who doesn't care or is interested in "normal" news this sites presentation is a wonderful parody of everything I dislike about politics which never gets old. Otaku Mode
This site focuses on content relating to the niche of lovers of Japanese culture. It includes information on new shows, figures, anime video games, manga, and film. I enjoy reading articles about rankings of the best shows to look out for during the anime season. Pre-Covid it would showcase pictures and articles of anime expo events showing the best costumes and community creations. Rock Paper Shotgun
This blog is about PC gaming in particular. The articles are written and drafted by British game critics which focuses on gaming related stories. It covers indie games, developer updates, level design ratings, and AAA titles. My purpose for visiting this site is to gather information on games I have on my wish list and read a critics review of that title. I usually never disagree with their opinions but I take in account my own values and reasoning for wanting to buy a game. They are trust worthy enough to skew my view on my video game purchasing endeavors. Virtual goods have a certain level of value to me that not much other materials do. I like to be informed and make a smart decision before draining money into something that I may regret.List of Websites
